Overview

The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) & Data Analyst provides technical and analytical support to the Human Resources department in pursuit of HRIS initiatives and other HRIS-related responsibilities. This includes but is not limited to maintaining quality and consistency of HRIS database information; ensuring personnel actions are following current Human Resources policies and guidelines; providing HRIS technical support to Human Resources and other staff; serving as liaison to other functional areas such as Benefits, Human Resources, Recruiting, Payroll and Finance.  Supports methods to measure effectiveness of people programs, uncover insights and opportunities; and build capacity within the People organization to utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making.

 

This is a mostly remote position, working in-person one day per week at either the Cranbury, NJ or Philadelphia Navy Yard facility.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with HR functional areas to understand and support stakeholder initiatives and system requirements.
  • Supports custom reporting in UKG including design, development, testing and delivery to stakeholders.
  • Analyzes data for trends or issues; creates dashboards and graphs to support metrics for key organization leaders.
  • Resolves UKG technical problems and engages additional resources, as necessary.
  • Ensures UKG data cleanliness through support of data entry, data imports and exports and adherence to the data integrity framework.
  • Effectively present technical and functional information in a manner that is understandable to all levels of the organization.
  • Helps to identify gaps in existing processes when business needs change and identify possible solutions.
  • Conducts formal and informal training sessions regarding HRIS.
  • Supports critical system maintenance including UKG releases.
  • Maintains UKG Security including SSO, User and Role based permissions, Service Account Administration and Role Automation.
  • Provides other support to Human Resources management and staff as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience / Education  

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related fields (or equivalent experience)
  • 5-7 years of experience in HRIS/HR Operations support
  • Expertise in creating story telling dashboards and reports from raw data; in depth knowledge of UKG (formerly Ultimate Software) and Business Intelligence Reporting
  • Organization Structure Management experience

 

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of iCIMS applicant Tracking system preferred.
  • Excellent Organization skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Proficient in Oral & Written communication skills
  • Need to be able to read, write and understand English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
