LTD is seeking a strategic EU Market Director, International Marketing to drive awareness, thought leadership, and lead generation for our Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK), Toxicology, and Bioanalytical services in the European market. This role requires expertise in regional market trends, strategic content development, and performance-based marketing initiatives to support our EU business development team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with product managers, marketing leadership, subject matter experts (SMEs), and agency partners to execute impactful marketing campaigns that resonate with regional audiences.
LTD International Marketing is a lean, strategic organization operating within a matrixed environment. Critical strategic thinking, decision-making, and demonstrated execution in marketing—not sales support—are key. Successful candidates will know how to build relationships, focus on initiatives that drive impressions and thought leadership, and generate qualified leads. This person will work closely with Product Managers, Meetings, Events, and Tradeshow Managers, and the Commercial Analytics team. Availability for calls with US and CN-based colleagues outside regular business hours is required, with efforts to balance schedules. Additionally, LTD International Marketing is making a strategic push to increase our EU market share, requiring innovative and targeted marketing initiatives.
Essential Job Functions: The EU Marketing Director will develop and implement marketing strategies tailored to the EU market to increase brand awareness, enhance thought leadership, and generate qualified leads. This involves analyzing country- and region-specific market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs to inform marketing initiatives and content customization. By gathering and interpreting market intelligence, the EU Market Director will refine positioning and messaging to ensure LTD remains competitive and relevant in the region.
A key focus of the role is managing the creation and execution of high-value content in collaboration with product managers and SMEs. This includes determining the appropriate mix of materials, optimizing content for local languages, and overseeing both paid and organic marketing campaigns to ensure alignment with business goals. Additionally, the EU Market Director will partner with the data analytics and HubSpot teams to optimize the customer journey, improving engagement and conversion rates.
The role also encompasses managing the promotion of EU conferences and events, securing speaking opportunities for SMEs at key industry events, and tracking key performance metrics through monthly leadership updates and quarterly ROI reports. Continuous testing, refinement, and reporting of marketing strategies will ensure LTD’s initiatives remain effective and aligned with evolving market dynamics, driving maximum impact in the European region.
