Experience / Education:
- Minimum of a Ph.D in biology
- At least 5 years of life science experience.
- At least 8 years of successful sales and territory management experience in a scientific CRO.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and work under pressure.
- Demonstrated success at managing multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics, and manage their delivery by the team.
Technical Skills / Knowledge:
- Demonstrates a broad understanding of discovery biology
- Demonstrates ability to couple business insight, understanding of market dynamics, and ability to translate business opportunity and business growth.
- Able to close deals by effectively utilizing internal resources.
- Demonstrated abilities in the areas of listening, negotiations, teamwork, and persuasiveness.
- Supports team or scientific counterparts to provide appropriate solutions to clients.
- Track record for handling difficult situations and proposing solutions that led to turnaround or success.
- Ability to accomplish the described duties with the use of appropriate computer. equipment and software (especially Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and CRM tool).
