Overview

The Digital Marketing & Operations Analyst supports the execution, optimization, and measurement of marketing programs with a strong focus on HubSpot and Salesforce. This role is responsible for executing campaigns, maintaining data integrity, supporting lead lifecycle processes, and ensuring accurate handoff and reporting between marketing and sales systems.

 

The ideal candidate is execution-focused, highly organized, and data-driven, with the ability to follow defined marketing strategies while continuously improving performance through disciplined operations, reporting, and Agile-style execution.

Responsibilities

Campaign & Content Performance

  • Partner with content teams to support campaign execution, tracking, and optimization.
  • Analyze content engagement performance, including gated vs. ungated strategies, nurturing effectiveness, and user behavior.
  • Identify underperforming campaigns or assets and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.

Web, SEO & Digital Experience

  • Support website strategy execution, including campaign landing pages, form performance, and conversion optimization.
  • Analyze and improve technical and on-page SEO performance in collaboration with content and web teams.
  • Monitor user behavior and engagement data to inform digital experience improvements. 

HubSpot Campaign Execution & Optimization

  • Execute email marketing campaigns in HubSpot, including email build, QA, scheduling, deployment, and performance tracking.
  • Support campaign execution across HubSpot tools, including forms, landing pages, workflows, lists, and campaigns.
  • Optimize email and inbound performance using engagement and conversion data (open rates, CTR, form conversion, lifecycle progression).
  • Monitor channel health and identify performance trends or degradation.
  • Apply data-driven improvements to messaging, segmentation, timing, and CTAs in alignment with established strategy. 

Lead Lifecycle & Salesforce Alignment

  • Support execution of the lead lifecycle within HubSpot, including lead capture, nurturing, re-engagement, qualification, and suppression.
  • Ensure accurate lead handoff from HubSpot to Salesforce, including lifecycle stage updates, ownership assignment, and field mapping.
  • Monitor lead flow, routing, and status changes to ensure data accuracy and sales visibility.
  • Identify and flag issues impacting MQL/SQL progression, attribution, or reporting consistency. 

Marketing Operations, Automation & Agile Execution

  • Execute and maintain HubSpot workflows, automation, and lifecycle logic.
  • Support Salesforce-related marketing operations activities, including campaign member updates, lead status alignment, and reporting accuracy.
  • Manage assigned initiatives using an Agile approach, including task breakdown, prioritization, sprint-style execution, and delivery tracking.
  • Coordinate timelines, dependencies, and handoffs across marketing and sales.
  • Proactively identify execution risks and escalate issues to ensure on-time delivery.

Data Quality & System Hygiene

  • Support ongoing data hygiene across HubSpot and Salesforce, including duplicate management, enrichment support, suppression logic, and validation checks.
  • Monitor data completeness and accuracy for key fields used in segmentation, routing, attribution, and reporting.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality leads enter and progress through the funnel.

Reporting, Dashboards & Insights

  • Maintain recurring reports and dashboards in HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Analyze campaign, channel, and funnel performance across systems.
  • Provide concise performance summaries explaining results, drivers, and optimization opportunities.
  • Support post-campaign reviews and retrospectives to identify learnings and process improvements.

Campaign QA & Operational Readiness

  • Own pre-launch QA for HubSpot-based campaigns, validating emails, forms, workflows, tracking, lifecycle updates, and Salesforce sync behavior.
  • Ensure campaigns meet operational, compliance, and data-quality standards prior to launch.
  • Maintain execution checklists, templates, and documentation to support consistent delivery.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and BU teams to support campaign execution and lead management.
  • Monitor feedback related to lead quality, engagement, and follow-up effectiveness.
  • Support user adoption of HubSpot and Salesforce processes through documentation and operational guidance.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and operational discipline
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort executing within defined strategies, workflows, and systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience or strong exposure to HubSpot and Salesforce
  • Familiarity with lead lifecycle concepts, MQL/SQL definitions, and attribution
  • Exposure to Agile project management concepts or tools
  • Experience supporting reporting or dashboards in a marketing or revenue environment

  • Lead handoff and lifecycle progression between HubSpot and Salesforce are reliable
  • Marketing and sales reporting is trusted and consistent
  • Data quality issues are identified early and addressed proactively
  • Campaign performance improves through disciplined optimization

 

Physical Requirements:          

  • Must be able to work in an indoor office setting
  • Must be able to work in environment with minimal noise levels
