Overview

We are seeking a Research Scientist to join the Biochemistry team based in Munich, Germany. In close collaboration with the various departments at Crelux you will work on biochemical projects covering a wide variety of target classes and modalities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and validate biochemical assays for enzyme activity, binding, and inhibition studies
  • Support compound screening and profiling across multiple target classes.
  • Design, plan, and document experimental work with scientific rigor and attention to detail.
  • Ensure clear, professional communication and discussion of results with clients

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics or a related field with 2+ years of experience (industry experience preferred)
  • Proven track record in biochemical assay development and optimization, ideally in a drug discovery or CRO environment
  • Experience with HTRF/FRET, Luminescence-based assays, protein-protein interaction assays as well as enzyme kinetics
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluent English language skills

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with high-throughput screening or fragment-based drug discovery is a plus
  • Experience with liquid handlers and lab automation
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python) is a plus
