Overview

Responsible for revenue growth in Medical Device Strategic Accounts.  Create overall strategy for Strategic Accounts and develop specific tactics for each strategic account that will result in revenue growth for WuXi AppTec.

Responsibilities

  • Meet Strategic Accounts (SA) Revenue Growth Target.
  • Develop overall strategy for SA with executive sponsors. Develop and implement account specific strategies and tactics, and monitor adjust tactics as needed. 
  • Coordinate with the WuXi executive team, sales and other stakeholders where needed. 
  • Provide leadership and expertise in coordination with the WuXi executive team regarding contract negotiations, pricing structures and account maintenance.
  • Effectively organize, plan and manage systems and resources necessary to support the SA strategy.
  • Monitor SA metrics, tracking, reporting and analysis to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Create account leverage across the breadth of WuXi AppTec’s services portfolio
  • Establish professional relationships with strategic personnel in assigned SA.
  • Lead formal Business Review process at targeted strategic accounts
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate SA customer needs on an ongoing basis while working to a Preferred Partnership status with the SA.
  • Lead SA planning process that develops performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones over the term of SA agreements.
  • Work closely with WuXi Marketing to identify specific programs to penetrate Strategic Accounts.
  • Work in conjunction with the Director of Sales and Account Managers to participate in site visits with customers as a way to promote the SA program.
  • Drive and share best practices for SA sales and growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years in strategic account management and contracts negotiation required
  • Experience in facilitating and influencing potential and existing sponsors at the executive level.
  • Strong strategic sales and negotiation skills a must.
  • Strong communication, project management, and client service skills.
