Overview

  • The Market Analytics Specialist provides insights into what is happening in our market and with strategic customers and how that relates to our business goals. Using analytical tools they identify service trends, utilization levels and pricing and the reason behind them. Look for opportunities to further penetrate strategic accounts, identify new market opportunities, understand and ultimately anticipate competitive moves.
  • Regular communication with the Director of Marketing, Marketing Managers and Strategic Account Managers should be expected, as well as Business Development and Account Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Solicit and collect competitive intel – including pricing, messaging, positioning, activities, etc. Report on a regular basis to stake holders (marketing, SA manager, sales, ops, tech teams as appropriate).
  • Quarterly review of testing/ manufacturing trends, utilization and ASP that can be reported to Sr. Leadership team.
  • Stay current on industry trends – new products, mergers, acquisitions and report on a regular basis to stake holders.
  • Work with Director of Marketing for annual pricing analysis.
  • Identify and solicit secondary research sources as well as external lists to further penetration or new markets.
  • Conduct primary research as needed (e.g. Net Promoter)
  • Assist in Strategic Account Mapping and development of focused decks for Business Reviews
  • Assists in finding and developing contacts in strategic accounts for various services, especially new and underemphasized services.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned Strategic Accounts and actively participates in formal Business Review process.
  • Support the completion and response of Strategic Account RFPs with relevant Sales team members and subject matter experts within WuXi AppTec. Serve as main interface for RFPs with Strategic Accounts.
  • Manage and maintain competitive intel database (including pricing)
  • Maintain current market analysis for our market as well as trending/usage/pricing of our products and services by customer type
  • Support the growth of business through strategic accounts

Qualifications

  • Bacheors Degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • Highly skilled in data analysis and ability to interpret complex market/sales data to propose solutions.
  • Strong communication, project management, and client service skills.
