  • Overview

    This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer of the Company and work closely with China team based in Company’s headquarters in Shanghai.

    The position is US based remote role. 

     

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities

    • Responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing and integrating the Company’s merger and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions for US & Europe market.
    • Will be involved in identifying prospective target opportunities, performing strategic and quantitative analysis, conducting due diligence.
    • Determining appropriate valuation and deal structure, developing strategy for and conducting negotiations, driving activities to closure, and coordinating/leading all aspects of the post-closing integration with Company’s business units.
    • Will be responsible for all aspects of the transaction and will carry out tasks by managing a cross-functional team involving persons from our Business Units, Finance, Legal, Human Resources, IT, etc.
    • Identify and qualify new ideas & companies; keeping close ties with Company executives and industry leaders (entrepreneurs, investors and bankers).
    • Will involve in capital market transactions including potential restructuring of company subsidiaries.

    Qualifications

     

    • 10+ years related work experiences in healthcare and life science industries
    • More than 5 years of M&A/Corporate Development experience running all aspects of Acquisition and investment transactions, or 5+ years in Investment Banking, Private Equity
    • MBA from top-rated business school, or similar level of experience and skills
    • Experience in a group environment as well as an operational one where people leadership was required
    • Strong analytical skills, fluency in performing rigorous financial, valuation and broad quantitative analyses and familiarity with accounting & key operational metrics
    • Excellent judgment, mature personality, and experience working with executives; a sophisticated and well-connected, worldly businessperson
    • Team player, pro-active and action oriented, anticipates needs, is assertive, and is highly accountable.
