  • Overview

    This position is based in Changzhou, Jiangsu, China, reporting to the group leader or Director, Peptide and Oligoneoclutide analysis at STA, Changzhou.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide technical expertise and project management in the analytical team with both R&D and GMP Quality Control functionalities in support of the company’s Peptide and/or Oligoneoclutide R&D and manufacture projects.
    • Conduct and manage method development and validation in process testing, raw material testing, peptide and/or oligoneoclutide characterization and release testing, reference standard characterization, etc.
    • Implement the technologies for peptide and/or oligoneoclutide analysis, troubleshooting and manage the instrument.
    • Ensure effective communication internally with process development team and manufacture team, and externally with clients regarding scientific findings in written or verbal English language, and host teleconference for corresponding discussion.
    • Ensure the analytical work is conducted with high quality and efficiency, and in accordance with applicable SOP’s.
    • Draft, review and approve reports, SOPs and related quality documents.
    • Implement the company’s policies, quality systems and training programs. Follow the company’s code of conduct and compliance rules.

    Qualifications

    • Proven pharmaceutical industry experience in analytical method development, validation, transfer, and GMP compliance.

    • Hands-on experience in various analytical instrumation (e.g. LC, GC, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, NMR)

    • Experience of using LC/MS/MS and HRMS, performing peptide mapping and/or and sequence analysis of oligonucleotides is highly desirable.

    • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English language, and outstanding interpersonal skills are essential job requirements.

    Education Requirements:

    • Master's degree in analytical chemistry, bioanalytical chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis or related major with total 5 years in Peptide analysis or close fields

    •  

      Ph.D. degree in analytical chemistry, bioanalytical chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis or related major with 2 years in Peptide analysis or close fields.
