  • Overview

    • Responsible for providing strong cross functional leadership within the West Coast North America sales territory, while continuing to grow the business across new and existing accounts.
    • Managing and leading the west coast team within client and territory management metrics
    • Works closely with the WuXi Biologics leadership team and operations to develop the right strategies and tactics to meet the yearly revenue targets for the region
    • Aligns and works together with the WuXi Biologics local CMC teams
    • Stays current on competitors and competitive strategies and provides input needed for the development of future services and products.
    • This position can be based on the West coast, but ideally in the state of California



    • Achieve rolling West coast regional sales target, and work across geographies to support the whole WuXi Biologics portfolio growth across clinical and commercial manufacturing
    • Cross selling our services into exiting accounts, driving business with new accounts and managing our extensive portfolio of customers
    • Plans and perform the selling, proposal and contract negotiation process independently
    • Builds strong internal relationships across functions
    • Represents WuXi Biologics at key trade shows
    • Contributes to key commercial strategies across the sales team
    • Responsible for managing all aspects of the customer relationship.
    • Timely update of CRM and monitoring of KPIs


    Minimum of Bachelor’s degree. MBA preferred but not required.

    Proven track record of revenue growth through successful team building and management

    Experience selling in the life sciences area is required

    A scientific background is highly desirable as well as experience working in a CRO environment.

    Must have strong leadership and management experience
