  • Overview

     Provide leadership, expertise, and support regarding warehouse and logistics subject matter during the planning, implementation, and hyper care of the new Enterprise Resource Planning system initiative. Super-User and Continuous Improvement post go-live.


    • Work closely with the Warehouse and Logistics department to understand their processes.
    • Translate processes into IT/IS solutions, especially around warehousing and logistics.
    • Actively and systematically, look to improve business processes related to warehouse and logistics.
    • Evaluate the effect of system and process changes as they occur within the supply chain.
    • Actively lead and participate in continuous improvement opportunities.
    • Normally receives minimal instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and independently, as required
    • Contributes to the overall operations and to the achievement of departmental goals
    • Perform job specific tasks in compliance with applicable Regulations, International Standards, and WuXi AppTec Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Other duties as assigned


    Experience / Education

    • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent
    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience 

    Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:


    • Proven experience with SAP system, preferably in a manufacturing environment
    • GMP/GLP experience preferred but not required
    • Great Plains and SAP Business 1 software experience desired but not required
    • Experience with Lean Manufacturing desired but not required
    • Must work effectively in a participative team environment and deliver on commitments
    • Strong collaborating, analytical, computer, and organizational skills a must
    • Must have time management skills, multi-tasking ability, & demonstrated problem solving skills
    • Proficient in Oral & Written communication skills
    • Need to be able to read, write and understand English
    • Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook)
