Work location: Shanghai or Wuhan

• Provide scientific input to both internal teams and clients. Independently design experiments, analyze, interpret results and trouble shooting.
• Ensure effective communication internally with the research team, and externally with clients regarding scientific findings in written or verbal English, and host teleconference regularly for corresponding discussion.
• Manage multiple projects in parallel efficiently, from clarifying scope, organizing the research team, to updating progress and responding to clients’ inquiries.
• Mentor, train junior scientists and manage the research team.

• Ph.D. in peptide chemistry, organic chemistry or related field.
• Extensive experience in peptide synthesis, characterization and purification, preferably with expertise in organic synthesis.
• Broad expertise and familiarity with assays and technologies commonly used to analyze peptides (e.g., HPLC, LCMS, solid phase synthesis, NMR).
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English.
