  • Overview

    Upskill the organization on microbiological test technologies and laboratory practices applying Microbial Pathogens, Microbial Diversity, Design of Experiment, Analysis of Variance, Cellular Morphology, Molecular Biology and Biofilm; 

    Responsibilities

    Represent the organization to participate in the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) to co-develop microbiology related US national standards for medical devices and healthcare industry; Plan and implement technical training programs for testing personnel on laboratory techniques and knowledge on pipetting, plate counting, cross contamination elimination, microbial diversity/environmental microbiology, and aseptic techniques in ISO compliant cleanrooms; Provide technical guidance on onsite and offsite microbiological & anti-microbial testing projects; Review literature and findings in academic journals and attend microbiology related conferences.

    Qualifications

    Must have a Ph.D. in Microbiology, Bacteriology, or Food Science plus skills and knowledge in Microbial Pathogens, Microbial Diversity, Molecular Biology, Biofilm, Design of Experiment, Analysis of Variance, Cellular Morphology.
