Overview

Lead Talent Acquisition strategy development and talent delivery in support of a growing global organization operating in the US UK, and EU, ensuring alignment with business strategy. Responsible for establishing the global talent acquisition processes and managing a dispersed team of Talent Acquisition Professionals. Providing expert level guidance toward the continuous improvement of the global Talent Acquisition function by developing recruiting competencies throughout the company that include short- and long-term recruitment planning, resource allocation and deployment, performance reporting and employer branding. Actively enhance and maintain all recruitment related systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Work with global leadership teams to develop a business wide talent acquisition strategy that meets the needs of a diverse and growing business.
  • Responsible for establishing sourcing channels including College Recruiting, candidate outreach plans and supporting recruitment processes that result in a robust pipeline of candidates.
  • Oversees the identification and selection of Talent Acquisition related partners and collaborates with internal teams to negotiate master service agreements that compliment business goals.
  • Collaborate across Human Resources functions and continuously integrate Talent Acquisition Team with Human Resources Business Partner Teams in developing solutions for the organization.
  • Develop, deliver and analyze recruitment metrics to track effectiveness of programs, partners and technology as well as drive recruiter delivery, allocation of resources, and team priorities.
  • Continually enhance knowledge of global policies and processes related to global Talent Acquisition. This may include alternate hiring strategies, evolving benefits, new hire policies, interview and selection, onboarding procedures, etc.
  • Identify and participate in conferences, job fairs and alternative recruitment events. Establish and maintain contacts with colleges, universities, alumni groups, and other organizations to support strategic resourcing initiatives.
  • In partnership with the Public Relations / Content teams, lead the development and implementation of social media advertisement of recruitment plans.
  • Collaborate in building our diversity, inclusivity, and equity efforts and continue building talent programs that support our commitment to diversity
  • Complies with local and regional hiring guidelines and procedures, particularly for applicant tracking.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and demands impacting the company's ability to attract competitive candidates; actively collaborate with hiring managers and human resources team on offer considerations and equity concerns.
  • Support the organization during periods of re-organization or integration by managing the global process changes related to these activities.
  • Responsible for meeting established financial targets, functional performance targets and supporting business development activities.
  • Continually develops and coaches employees to their fullest potential and fosters and organization of continuous learning.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or educational equivalent; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Experience

  • Minimum fifteen (15) years’ experience recruiting in a life sciences environment.
  • Prior experience in a Clinical Research Organization (CRO), or Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) preferred.
  • A blend of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Business Partner experiences desired.
  • Recruitment agency would be a plus.
  • Minimum seven (7) or more years of prior experience managing a team of global full cycle recruiters.

Capabilities

  • Sound knowledge of legislation in the Talent Acquisition process.
  • Strong technology skills including Microsoft Office applications, iCIMS, LinkedIn,and  HRIS applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, good problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Good understanding and awareness of the commercial environment and market trends.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Very high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and plan routine activities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
  • Ability to work remotely as required.
  • Travel as needed to support department deliverables.
