Job Summary: The incumbent will uncover and cultivate business relationships and opportunities to generate revenue with prospective and existing clients for STA Pharmaceutical, a WuXi AppTec company, in particular to support the growth of emerging Discovery oligonucleotide and peptide (O&P) Contract Development and Manufacture (CDMO) business. The candidate will work closely together with the U.S business development (BD) teams to pursue new business leads; follows up on critical issues and aides in resolving customer inquiries. The Clinical Research Associate III Senior Oncology performs and coordinates aspects of field-based and office-based monitoring and data quality control functions in accordance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP), International Conference on Harmonization (ICH), and WuXi Clinical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This is an office or remote based position and requires approximately 50-75% travel.

The International Discovery Service Unit (IDSU) is now accepting applications from 2023 Master's graduates for this Scientist role. Responsibilities inclue (but not limited to) the synthesis and purification of novel compounds for potential clinical drug development. The Scientist will work independently in planning and executing multi-step synthetic sequences on mg to gram scale.
